Mother Bertram

Mother Bertram O.S.R.N was a former mother superior of the Order of Saint Raymond Nonnatus and was alive at the time Sister Winifred joined and had to sew her number into her cap and veil, that number being 179. Sister Monica Joan thought that the number once belonged to Mother Bertram but it couldn't as no two sisters could have the number at the same time and Mother Bertram was alive then, though she had died by 1960 and the orders superior was Mother Jesu Emmanuel.
