- This episode includes the last appearance of Sergeant Peter Noakes. Actor Ben Caplan announced his departure from the series in March 2017 in order to pursue other acting opportunities. While an explanation is yet to be given for his characters absence in Series Seven, it has been revealed his character won't be killed off and the door will be left open in the event that Caplan chooses to return to the role. Caplan has reportedly stated he would be eager to return if Miranda Hart is able to reprise her role as Chummy.[citation needed]
