Overview[]

It's 1967, and excitement builds as Sandie Shaw prepares to represent Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, but demolition work in Poplar uncovers a long-buried secret that leaves the community in shock. Also Derek and Audrey Fleming, whose baby boy was born with no legs below the knee and died shortly after birth, are expecting another baby and are concerned about something going wrong again as it was found that Derek had been exposed to radiation from nuclear tests while in the armed forces. In addition, Sister Frances comes down with the chickenpox.

Goofs[]

  • Lucille and Cyril got married in the Christmas episode, yet when Lucille arrives at Nonnatus House, Phyllis addresses her as "Nurse Anderson" instead of "Nurse Robinson". Force of habit maybe, but no one corrects her.
